The Media Analysis feature requires the Agency to have the CIP Portal Storage!
The Storage service provides cloud storage in a secure way that lets each agency store practically limitless amounts of data.
The Media Analysis tool has the ability to show the user different Insights where the user can filter for the Information they need. They also have the option to see the Timeline which is where the Transcription is located.
Users are able to send Video and Audio files to be transcript by the CIP Portal Media Analysis tool.
It is important to understand it is not a limitation from STAC itself but from the Azure AI tool from Microsoft that is used to complete the analysis.

The user is able to select the Video or Audio file they need and go to: Image Tab > Select files > Right click menu > CIP Portal Media Services > Send Media for Analysis
The video MUST be in the CIP Portal storage before it can be analyzed. If a video or audio file is not in the storage, then at the time the user selects Send Media for Analysis, STAC will first add the file to the storage before it is sent for analysis.
Once the files are sent, the process may take several minutes to upload a video to the portal and then also for the analysis to be complete. The user should refresh the screen to check the status of the analysis in the Image Log.
Once the Log says Analysis-Complete. Then, the user will be able to select the Open Media Analysis button by going to: Image Tab > Select files > Right click menu > CIP Portal Media Services > Open Media Analysis.
The Analysis tool will open the Analysis in a new Tab.
