How to use My Hyperlink Center?

The Hyperlink Center is only used for the URLs that are added to cases via the Image Tab. 

The files in the Hyperlink Center are already associated to a case, so the only information that the users are adding in the Hyperlink Center is the Image type, comments, etc.

Users are able to use the multi-select to add multiple records at one time (even if records are for different cases). However, if users are doing a group update, then all records selected will have the same Image Type, Image comment, etc.

From the Hyperlink Center, the users are able to Add file(s) to selected case(s), Delete file(s), and a User created filter. On the detail section users are able to view a preview of the record and the Cases tab allows the user to see all the cases the File is going to be added to once the Image type is added to the file.

Add 

Once a user has already added the link, and it is now waiting in the Hyperlink Center. This is the option the user will choose when they are ready to add the file to the Cases Image Tab.

After the files are selected and they choose the Add file option, the user will be prompted to enter the Image type information.

InfoIf the user would like multiple records, remember to select those records before selecting the Add button. 

Delete

The delete option on this screen allows users to delete the record from the Hyperlink Center.

WarningThis action is nonreversible and will remove the image from Storage
AlertUsers can only add a URL to a case once, if the same URL has been added to a case previously. The user will get an error message indicating this URL has already been processed for this case. Even if the process fails or a file was deleted from the Hyperlink Center.

The same URL will NOT be able to be added to the case again.

User created filter

By default, STAC is going to show the list with the filter set to the user that is currently logged in.

This is because if something fails with that record, we can notify the user that actually added the link to the case. Also, typically the person adding the file, will also be the person that indexes the file to the case in the Hyperlink Center. However, that is not always the case, so we allow users to be able to filter through the other users list, and even an option to see all Hyperlink Records to facilitate the process.
