How to Email from the Directory Module?
What is the Directory Email tab?
The Directory email tab is where users are able to add the email address related to the directory.
Users are able to add the main email, CC emails, Email Subpoena, and alternate e-service email. If the directory category is Employee or Criminal Justice Personnel, they will also have the option to choose the E-service via exchange option.
Field | Description |
| Email | Individuals main email |
| CC Email | Another email address, if applicable |
| Email Subpoena | If a Subpoena document is merged (Document must have Create Subpoena Record field checked and a Subpoena Type defined), STAC will first exclusively use the email in this field to send the message. If this field is blank, the email will be sent to the Directory’s main Email address and CC_email |
| E-service email | If E-service method is set to email, it will first check this field, if this is blank it will send it to the main email |
E-service Exchange Method | How the information will be E-serviced such as Email, Exchange, or CIP Portal.
Only available for Directory Category= Employee or Criminal Justice Personnel

How to email a Directory directly from the Directory module?
There are 2 ways a user may email from the Directory module.
- The email button on the top of the screen
- Select the directory > Right click Menu > Email

Users are able to multi-select directories and send the same email to all of the selected directories.
Once the recipients are selected, then choose the email (either from the header or the right click menu), the only pending information is to add the Subject and Body of the email.

Users will not be able to select the email option if the Directory selected does not have an email defined on the Email Tab.
