What is a Directory card?
The directory card is a screen that can give the user a quick glance of the important information of the directory selected without actually opening the directory module.
How to access a Directory Card?
The Directory card can be opened anywhere in STAC that the Name is a hyperlink. This will typically be the Case list and in the detail sections of a case.
Users will know the Name is a hyperlink because it will be underlined when the mouse hovers over it and it has this icon next to the Name

The directory card will show certain information for Directory type of Other and have extra sections for all other Directory Types.
On the top of the card, users can verify what directory they are looking at. The top of the card includes information about the Directory selected.
- Defendant Name
- View Directory (opens the directory module with the Defendant information in a new tab)
- Alias information (If applicable)
- Date of Birth
- Age
- Race/Sex
- Email
- Phone number
- Address
- Bar Number (if applicable)
- Badge Number (if applicable)
- Squad Number (if applicable)
- District Number (if applicable)
- Directory Warning associated to the Defendant (if applicable)
Directory Type=Other will have 5 sections
These sections are read only, if there is a down arrow next to the information STAC will show the case card related to that information. From the case card users can open the case in a new tab.

Alias:
This section shows the alias of the directory that is defined in the Alias tab of the directory. If the directory does not have an alias, then STAC will show a message "No Alias information"
Contact:
The contact section will show the 5 most recent address, emails, and phone numbers.
Details:
The detail section will show the identifiers such as the Driver's license, SSN, Jacket #, SPN #, etc.
Related Cases:
The related cases section will show if the directory is associated with other cases in STAC.
Related Directories:
The Related section shows the related directories that are defined in the Related tab of the directory. If the directory does not have a related directory, then STAC will show a message "No directories related"
All other directory types will have 4 sections

Alias:

The Leave section will show any current and future leave that the directory has on their Directory Leave tab. This information will only be present for Directory Category of Employee and Criminal Justice Personnel.

The Related section shows the related directories that are defined in the Related tab of the directory. If the directory does not have a related directory, then STAC will show a message "No directories related"
