How to use the Directory Image Tab

What is the Directory Image Tab?

The image tab in the directory is used for Images associated with a directory. These images are not case related.
This is also the tab that the administrator can add an image of a signature to be able to merge the signature into merged documents.
Users can also add a mugshot or image of the directory and assign it as the Profile image, this image will show on the Directory Card and throughout STAC.

Icons:

  1. The Signature icon indicates an image is set as the Signature and can be merged in a document
  2. The Profile icon indicates an image is set as the Profile and can be seen throughout STAC and on the Directory Card.
Alert
Only one image can be set as the Signature and one image set as the Profile. They can not be the same image either.

How to use the Directory Image Tab?

All of the options can be done by right clicking in the tab and on the record.
  1. In this tab users can add, edit, and delete images that stay in the Directory records
  2. Set the picture as a signature
  3. Set a profile picture that is displayed in the Directory Card.

How to add a Signature?

To add a signature to a Directory that can be merged in a document using a variable. Go to the Directory's Image Tab > add the signature file > right click on the file that is the signature > Set as Signature. 

How to add a Profile picture?

Profile pictures can be mugshots to easily identify the defendant or other parties of the case by seeing their image.  

To add a profile to a Directory that can be seen throughout STAC and on the directory card for that individual. Go to the Directory's Image Tab > add the image > right click on the file > Set as Profile. 

Image Case Tab vs Directory Image tab:

 The Image case tab is only view of the images; the Directory Image tab allows users to actually add images associated with the directory including the signature and profile picture.

What can I see on the Image Case tab?

The image case tab displays a list of case images associated with a directory and a preview of the image.
The image will only appear in this tab if the Relationship is added to the image in the case.

Users have the ability to easily download and print the images from this tab.
