What is the Diversion Tab?

The Diversion tab was created to allow users to keep track of any diversion program and payment that is correlated to their case. In the Diversion tab, users can add a diversion and the outcome and also keep track of payments that correlate to the diversion.

STAC allows users to enter the receipt number or money order number to keep track of the payment status and proof of payment for both the agency and for the individual paying the fee.

How to add a Diversion?

Users can add, edit, or delete the Diversion by the action buttons on the header or through the right click menu. Users also have the option to export the information to Excel

When adding a Diversion, users can enter the following information:

Date Entered
Indicates the date the diversion was added to the case (required)
Diversion TypeType of Diversion (required)
Diversion Sub-typeIndicates the Sub-type, if applicable
 Amount type
Indicates the units for the amount, such as days, hours, monetary, etc.
AmountNumerical digits that indicate the amount
Diversion OutcomeIndicates the status of the outcome
Date Due
Indicates what the due date should be according to the due date set in the configurations or added to this section
Date ConcludedIndicates the day the Diversion was completed or rejected
CommentsFree text space to add any comments, if applicable

How to add a payment to a Diversion?

Users can also add, edit, or delete the Diversion payment on the Diversion Tab. This is used to keep track of payments made to satisfy or complete the Diversion.

To add a Payment to a Diversion, Select the Diversion > Right click Menu > Add Payment

Once a payment is added, it can be seen on the detail section on the right side of the screen, as shown below.
From the Payment section users can use the arrow to see/hide the Payment information, the pencil icon to edit a Payment, or the trash icon to delete the Payment. 


When adding a Payment associated to a Diversion, users can enter the following information:

 Indicates the type of payment that was made

Indicates how the payment was made, whether it was in-person or by mail
AmountThe amount that was paid
Check#/Money Order #Indicates the money order number to keep on record
Receipt #Indicates the receipt number to keep on record
