What is the Case Name Search?

The Case Name Search is primarily used to find cases by the name of a relationship. It offers enhanced search capabilities compared to the Keyword Search, with access to additional directory fields and filtering options such as:

  • Date of Birth (DOB)

  • Driver’s License (DL)

  • Relationship in the case

  • Booking Number

  • County

To access this search, go to: Search > Case Name Search

Required Fields

  • Name is the only required field for performing a search.

  • Other fields like DOB or DL can be used optionally to narrow down the search results.

How to use

  • Once user clicks Search, the system retrieves all cases where at least one relationship name matches the entered name (partial names are supported).

Detail Section

  • Highlights a selected record for an easier view of the record selected.

  • Reduces the need for horizontal scrolling.

  • Only fields with values are shown in the Detail section.

Hyperlinks & Navigation

  • Case Numbers and Names in the Detail section are hyperlinks:

    • Selecting the case number will open the Case Card.

    • Selecting the Name will open the Directory Card

    • From the case card users can select "View Case" to open the case in a new tab.

    •  From the directory card users can select "View Directory" to open the full Directory Module in a new tab, where they can add/edit directory information.
