How to consolidate a single defendant?
Why is a case with a single defendant consolidated?
Consolidating cases with a single defendant is a fairly simple process. It is used if a single defendant had multiple cases open, they can consolidate that defendant's cases to appear as one single case and all the data and information that was gathered and put into the other cases gets consolidated to a single case and it is easier to see and add events. The cases that were consolidated then get closed, and only the main case that the user selected, remains open with all the consolidated information.
