What is the Statute Search?

The Statute Search is an online version of the old “Charge Book.” Attorneys can use this screen to research the statute table when deciding what charges apply to a case.
If the statute has a special instruction included, there will be an icon on the grid that users can select to see the instruction related to the statute. 

To access the statute search, go to: Searches > Statute Search
By default STAC will show the option to view all. However, they can also include a search text when searching by Description, Sec Stat #, and Statute #. 

This screen is for users to have a way to view the statutes that is created by their agency. There is also an ability to preview the information that will be merged if the statute is merged into a document.

The only action that can be done on this screen, is the ability to export the list to Excel.
