How to Transfer a case?

What is the Case Transfer?

Users can use the Case Transfer Wizard anytime that a case is transferred either between case types or between units within a court type. 

How to Transfer a case?

To access the Case Transfer Wizard, select the case > right click menu > More > Transfer Case

Only open cases can be transferred!
During this process the users have the ability to add a few additional Events and Relationships to the case in addition to updating the Department, Location, Case type, etc.

Once the transfer is complete, STAC will prompt a confirmation message with the new Case and Clerk numbers.

Users are only able to transfer one case at a time.
