How to send a message through the Relationship Tab?
The Agency will need to have CIP Portal to send voice messages and text messages
The relationship tab has many options including the ability to send messages. The type of messages includes email, text messages, and voice messages.
If users are going to use an email template the Category for the template to show up in the Message template drop down is Notification.
To send a message highlight the recipient(s) of the message > Right click Menu > More > Add Message > Email, Text Message, or Voice Message
We can then fill out the appropriate information, depending on what kind of message the user is trying to send. Below are the available fields:

| Recipient | The highlighted relationship(s) are the recipients. |
| Allow replies | Indicates if the person receiving the text message is allowed to reply. If this is not checked the receiver will not be able to reply to the text, if they try, they will get a message saying that is an invalid option |
Template | Message Template to choose a Template. If No Template is selected the user will need to fill in the Subject and Body. |
| Message Template | Users are able to send an email using a template. To add a template to this drop-down the Category=Notification |
| Subject | The subject line. This is used if users are sending an email |
| Body | Free text field to write the text message, email message, or what will be said in a phone call. If users are sending text messages or voice messages, they only need to write the message here in the Body. (For SMS messaging, it is recommended to send messages that are no more than 160 characters to ensure the best deliverability and user experience) |
| Comment | Comments are only saved if the user is sending the message using an Email Template. When using Email templates, the user can append the comment to the email if the email template has the variable Email_Comment in the email template |
