How to add a phone from the Relationship Tab?

Introduction

The relationship tab interacts with other sections in STAC such as the Directory. To minimize how many steps it would take to add a phone. STAC has an option in the relationship tab that allows user to add a new phone to that relationship's directory.

A user may need to add a new phone to a relationship in a case and there are a few ways to do that.

1. A user could go through the Directory's phone tab
   
2. The Relationship tab
   

How to add a Phone from the Relationship Tab?

To Add a phone directly in the Relationship tab, Select the relationship > Right click menu > More > Directory > Add Phone

Then, the screen will appear and allow the user to add a new phone to the individuals Directory. 

By default, the screen will appear blank so the user can add a new phone number. If users need to edit a current phone, they will need to go into the Directory.

Once the user Saves the new phone, depending on the configurations set for the Phone Type, it will either add an automatic end date to all other phone numbers of that Phone type OR the new phone will be added and none of the other phone numbers of that phone type get updated.

If that Automatic End Date check box is checked on the Phone Type code table, then any phone number that is entered using that phone type will automatically add an End date to all previous phone numbers of that same Phone type and will only keep one main active phone number.

This phone is not only added in the Relationship level, but the phone gets added to the Directory too
