How to configure Scoresheets?

There are a few code tables that are associated in the Setup of Scoresheets.

Case Type

To access these configurationsSetup > Codes > Case Types

FieldDescription
Scoresheet years to importThis field indicates the maximum age of a previous scoresheet that will be imported into a Scoresheet. 0 means no limits
Scoresheet import charges from open casesIndicates if the system will read charges from other open cases for the same defendant

Disposition Action

When creating a new scoresheet, STAC will automatically import charges from previous cases into the Prior records in section IV. In order to import these charges, the system will look for charges on closed cases with a “guilty” disposition action.

Sentence and Scoresheet Options

By default, the system uses count 1 as the charge listed on Additional offenses in Section II of the scoresheet. If this field is checked, then the system will use the Charge level to determine the charge that will be listed on the Additional offenses in Section II

Relate all charges when adding a new sentenceIndicates if all charges should be automatically related to a new sentence when adding sentences
Scoresheet Options
Use level field instead of count to load charges to the scoresheetBy default, the system uses the charge in count 1 as the most serious charge. When this box is checked, system will use the charge based on the Level field
Use Statute short description instead regular descriptionUse Statute short description to avoid truncate large statute description in the Scoresheet
