Single Defendant Consolidation VS Link (also called related) Cases

Single Defendant Consolidation VS Link (also called related) Cases

I was doing a single defendant consolidation and I noticed that it was being saved as a "linked case" not a consolidated case. Before I realized the case was linked I tried to undo the consolidation but received an error saying it was not a consolidated case. That is when I noticed on the case/incident tab in STAC 3 the linked/consolidated cases dropdown had the case as linked.
It is misleading when you chose consolidate a single def. but STAC categorizes it as a link case.

I know linking cases and consolidating cases are two different actions. My question here is, could there be a better name instead of 'linked' when you consolidate a single defendant?
