[On-Premise] STAC 3 Test environment installation

We are ready to begin the installation of the STAC 3 Test environment on your on-premises infrastructure.

Agency must have a STAC 3 signed contract.

If you already have your STAC 3 Test environment, please disregard these instructions.

There are a few items to address before we can install a STAC 3 Test site.

Pre-Installation Checklist

Please confirm that the following items have been addressed:

  1. Database: Your test database must be upgraded with the latest STAC 2 version (current is v2.91.1).
  2. SSL Certificate: It must have an SSL Certificate for STAC3Test.YourInternalDomainName.org & STAC3Test-RR.YourInternalDomainName.org.  If you're using a wildcard certificate for your STAC 3 Production site, that same wildcard can be used for the test site. Otherwise, new certificates will need to be created for these URLs.
  3. DNS: Internal DNS A-Records for the two URLs above pointing to the STAC IIS server.  Please be test these records to confirm they are resolving correctly for client devices prior to the installation meeting as we will need them for testing.

Scheduling Your Installation

Once your team has verified that the items above are complete, please use the link below to book a time slot for the installation:


Notes
Note: We recommend scheduling at least 24 hours in advance to allow our team to prepare for the installation. Please enter your agency name (SA99 or PD99) as a prefix to your name and a phone number to be used for contact.

During Installation

  1. We'll need to work with someone that has IIS and IIS data folder access. They will also need the password for the account that is currently running the STAC 3 application pool.
  2. STAC 2 and 3 Production will be unaffected during STAC 3 Test installation.
  3. STAC 2 Test will be unaffected during STAC 3 Test installation.
