Currently, changing a case type in order to limit who can view a case is not a good solution. It creates the potential for user error, missed filings, and other workflow issues.

One suggestion may be to create a special code or flag that can be assigned to a case and controlled through a designated security group. Only users assigned to that security group would be permitted to view or access the case.

This approach would allow the case to remain in its correct case type while still providing the necessary access restrictions and reducing the risk of operational errors.
